Rugby Recruitment passed The Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC) compliance test today with flying colours – as we have done every year.

This test is a prerequisite for being a member of REC and it examines an agency’s knowledge of employment law, industry legislation, codes of practice and ethics. It is THE professional body for the recruitment industry and a mark of quality.

If you deal with a recruitment agency, either as a candidate or client – look to see if your agency has been examined by a professional body. There are a lot of agencies to choose from and most of them are genuine – but it is a good idea to check before sending your CV to them or before giving them your valuable business. You never know what pitfalls you are entering when you deal with a “Johnny Come Lately” recruitment agency. The mistakes they make could have huge consequences on you or your business.
