This is a varied role concentrating on purchasing material, ensuring it is delivered on time and the timely implementation of purchase orders. Negotiating with suppliers and communicating with internal Managers and Team Leaders.
Identifying new suppliers
Negotiating prices and quantities
Liaising with suppliers to ensure on time and in full deliveries
Manage containment of Quality Issues
Maintenance of Company purchasing module from the Internal system, updating supplier details, costs.
Process purchasing requisitions and raising of Purchase Orders
Maintaining the Purchasing KPI’s.
To carry out all duties in accordance with the Company Quality Procedures.

Must be pro-active and confident eager to develop skills within purchasing.
Ability to work competently as an individual but comfortably as part of a team.

Hours of work – 7.30 am – 4.30 pm Monday – Thursday and 7.30 am – 12.30 Friday
