Mechanical Fitter Maintenance Service Workshop Engineer heavy engineering Rugby
Our client is a large prestigious Rugby based engineering company.
They are looking for a mechanically biased engineer to maintain and service large slurry pump and crusher equipment used within the mining, dredging and crusher industries.
They are looking for a highly motivated enthusiastic person ideally with at least 5 years’ experience working as a Mechanical Fitter with a heavy engineering company.
This is a demanding workshop position, but they would like someone to occasionally help their service team.
You would need to read engineering drawings and be conversant with all engineering measuring equipment.
Also, able to machine to tolerances.
There is also an element of assisting within the stores area picking, packing and dispatching components to clients.
You will need IT Skills using Microsoft office
A forklift truck license would be an advantage but not essential
Hours: Days 08.30am – 17.00pm with 45 min dinner break
Salary: circa £23,000
Type: permanent position.
