Our client is looking for a new Stores person to start as soon as possible – the job is a long contract which could become permanent for the right person.
You will need Stores experience – the company deal with a technical product within the engineering/ manufacturing industry and they are looking for someone who can both make up the “kits” for the assemblers can build their units.
Once the kits have been assembled the successful person will help the purchasing department, booking in stock, checking delivery stock, labelling the stock and placing stock on the system (they use SAGE), dealing with delivery queries – then put the stock back into stores.
If you have progress chasing of orders experience too this would be an advantage.
The role will be predominantly based in the stores area.
There is some lifting of stock items.
The company work 37.5 hours per week (no overtime)
