Our client manufactures specialist braking systems – they are a worldwide company – and are looking for someone to be responsible for the technical sales activities within their company – to be the first line of contact for their customers.
They would like the new member of staff to assist in the development of new balanced brake kits and assist in the selection appropriate components by performing calculations to predict the impact on brake torque and brake balance.
This will involve
Handling highly technical questions from both end-users and distributors and providing clear advice on product selection and brake system design
Assist in product testing, collating feedback, analysing data and then reporting on potential areas for improvement
To generate ideas to develop the company’s product range.
To assistant the engineering team on projects, supporting engineers.
To execute the complete selling process from opportunity creation/identification through to closing.
You will also be expected to reach out to new customers who will include smaller OEM’s, specialist tuning companies and race teams.
They want someone to have a passion for cars and the performance aftermarket;
Aptitude in maths, physics and engineering (essential)
Previous customer facing experience is essential for this position.
Note: This isnt a hard selling job… it is engineering support
They would like to find someone who is proactive, inquisitive, proficiency in using MS Office, have strong organisational skills, manage projects, be methodical, have an acute eye for detail, and be able to work within a dynamic and fast-moving environment.
Monday – Thursday 8.30 – 17.30 and Friday 8.30- 15.30
