Our Southam based client is looking for someone to work with a Mitutoyo “Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) – both setting and operating.
Knowledge of programming with Mitutoyo Software would a distinct advantage.
The successful candidate will be fully proficient in mechanical measuring skills, as well as the use of CMM.
A clear understanding of engineering drawings and geometric tolerances is a requirement.
Knowledge of manifolds and components in hydraulic machined parts would be an advantage.

The position will also involve inspecting Hydraulic manifolds
Salary £25-30K per annum based on experience
This is to ensure that goods and electrical equipment are assembled and tested to conform to drawings working to ISO9001:2015 quality procedures.
Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations
Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity
Manage the quality assurance division
Provide training and support to QA team
Create an effective, efficient testing protocol
Send away equipment that needs full recalibrating such as gauges.
Working to mechanical drawings
Testing using test rigs following procedures.
Completing paperwork and preparing certificates.
Follow hydraulic test procedures
Specialist training will be provided – but you need to have experience working as a Quality Inspector – ideally, you will have a knowledge of hydraulic equipment. Inspection / Quality experience is essential.
