Salary: £28,170.49 rising to £30,688.54
Reporting to the Quality Engineer, this role supports the Quality department on reactive quality engineering activities on a two-shift rotation pattern.
Programming and operating a CMM
Setting up, programming and using Faro arm
Modifying current programs
Work with support teams for CMM or Faro Arm issues
Write subroutines to output data in format usable by other software
Setting up and using SPC software
Own SPC tooling control sheets – Collect and input data
Deal with reject tickets – make decisions on rejects
Complete Scrap Paperwork
Use of analysis tools to help make decisions on rejects – DVA’s
Sign off completed salvages – verify salvage has been done correctly
Raising Material Reviews (MRs)
Sign off Tooling Control Sheets to verify they have been done by operators
Layered Process Audits (LPA) to reduce scrap and improve quality
Support Engineers with analysis data collected
We are looking for someone with experience of using dimensional hand tools and have a good knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerance (GD&T).
Candidates living within a 1 hours drive of Daventry will be considered initially.
Engineering based qualification such as ONC/HNC – Desirable
