Our client is a Rugby based company specialising in producing specialist reinforced concrete flooring. They are a global company and there are excellent opportunities for progression.
This is a permanent position.
We are looking to recruit a SITE MANAGER who is currently living within a 1 hours drive of Rugby.
Someone who has experience managing a site or someone who has worked their way up to be a Team Leader or Supervisor or similar.
Experience working with concrete construction would be a definite advantage.
Salary circa £45k – £50k + car depending on experience
SMSTS (Site management Safety Scheme) and CSCS is essential please
Full UK driving licence is essential please.
We are actively looking for someone highly motivated and experienced to work in the UK (including Ireland) constructing industrial concrete floors.
The successful candidate must have 3-5 years’ experience in construction with a background and experience working on large industrial projects.
As part of the Production Team, the Site Manager is required to travel as deemed necessary by the workload and location of the projects.
As Site Manager you will successfully manage all aspects of the construction site with responsibility for health & safety issues, trades and material co-ordination, site presentation and cost control. You will head a team of operatives ensuring that they are working safely and efficiently.
The position will involve
Attend pre-start meetings on site.
Manage site preparation.
Complete site administration.
Complete daily reports and checks.
Maintain quality control procedures.
Applicants must be fully experienced, have a strong work ethic, work on own initiative and have excellent customer and business communication skills.
Manage the construction of the concrete floor slabs on site.
Supervising and monitoring a team of production staff on site.
Deal with Risk Assessments, Method Statements, H&S requirements etc
Carry out daily quality control reports
Working with clients on site
Dealing with handover to client and submitting final site reports and QA/QC documentation.
