Customer Service & Sales Executive
£22,000 plus bonus
This role involves qualifying sales leads generated from marketing activities such as email campaigns, exhibitions/events, website and telephone enquiries.
This will include processing leads via CRM and qualifying the lead status in order to determine sales readiness. e.g. customer buying requirements, timeline, budget etc.
The position will also require the individual to undertake proactive business development initiatives and outbound sales activities to leverage current customer base or explore new opportunities.
Telemarketing and telesales to existing customers and new prospects.
Execute post exhibition/event telesales campaigns.
Understand lead qualification from a sales perspective and prioritise accordingly.
Ensure that all leads are routed correctly; either to the Account Management
Creation of product quotations within CRM.
Direct Tele-sales calls leasing with customers enquiries for products and services.
Follow up and qualify all inbound leads and process via SAP CRM.
Prepare reports on lead conversion and other relevant topics.
Assist in preparing data for marketing campaigns, e.g. trade-in/upgrade campaigns.
Ensure that all leads are routed correctly; either to the Account Management team or back into marketing for further nurturing.
Take a pro-active account-led approach to explore further sales opportunities.
Understand the structure of CRM and lead flow.
Ensure that customer data is kept up to date and is segmented correctly.
Keep up to date with new product launches.
Support in improving opportunity forecasting accuracy.
Support for on-boarding and management of customer supplier portals.
Support where required to complete new supplier questionnaires.
Business Process Support
Support to Regional Sales Team and Internal Sales Manager when required.
Support with development of customer databases.
Preferred experience in working with SAP CRM, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Be proactive, confident and comfortable on the telephone
Motivated, target driven to succeed in a sales-based role.
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in speaking to customers.
Must be self-driven and happy to take their own initiative.
Must be able to manage their own workload and prioritise effectively.
Organised and good record keeping.
Candidate must have a flexible approach to meet business requirements.
Overseas travel may be undertaken on request.
