Do you have experience working as a Facilities Manager?
Our client is looking for an “inspirational and professional” person to join the team to run 2 sites in Daventry.
You will be responsible for all matters regarding premises and facilities, including leadership and Management of all premises staff, Health, & Safety and Welfare.
This will be managing a small team of site support staff and liaising with outside contractors
We are seeking someone who:
Has experience working in a relevant discipline, i.e. Senior Site Manager/Senior Caretaker/Facilities Management in a school or similar environment.
They are looking for someone who holds a NVQ Level 4 / HND/Degree in relevant discipline or appropriate experience at senior level
Someone who has a good working knowledge of relevant policies/codes of practice/legislation.
To be responsible for the condition and maintenance of all areas of the school, including buildings, grounds, plant machinery and fittings.
To ensure all site related risk control measures are managed and controlled effectively to meet current legislation. This includes, but it not limited to, fire safety, legionella, asbestos, waste disposal, COSHH and statutory electrical testing.
To coordinate all works from external contractors where specialist services are required.
