The role is to be responsible for all aspects of the finance function (to include payroll, purchase ledger and credit control) ensuring that company financial systems and procedures are robust & compliant.
Reports directly to the Finance Director
Responsible for a small team
Production of management accounts on a monthly basis
Calculation of accruals & prepayments
Balance sheet reconciliation
Preparation of audit files for year end
VAT recording submission and payment including Intrastat returns
Ensuring company financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth
Management of a small team to include payroll, purchase ledger & credit control
Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) with previous management accounting experience.
Previous experience in staff management
Computer literate with excellent excel skills and solid understanding of accounting principles
