Finance Manager – Manufacturing Environment

Salary upto £45,000 per annum
Location – Rugby
All aspects of the Nominal Ledger accounts for all Group companies. (Software = Exchequer).
Preparing monthly management reports.
Liaising with Group auditors, arranging audits and finalisation.
Business Cost analysis.
Posting journals to the nominal ledger.
Completing balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with reporting on margin performance on a monthly basis with analysis of operating costs.
Assisting the Operations team by identifying costs all processes
Manage Bank Accounts for all Group companies and maintain cash books (in Excel).
Prepare the complete payroll for both trading companies (Software = Brightpay) and answer any employee pay or tax queries.
Responsible for both trading companies obligations regarding Auto Enrolment Pensions.
Prepare and submit all government returns (VAT, PAYE, Intrastat, National Statistics) with the exception of Corporation Tax.
Oversee and finalise Sales Ledgers at both trading companies.
Oversee and finalise Bought Ledgers at both trading companies.
Manage petty cash for both trading companies.
Liaise with insurance brokers ref renewals and any claims.
Prepare and finalise annual stock take at Rugby and finalise Technoturn.
Liaising with finance houses ref funding of new capital purchases.
Maintaining proof of export documentation for both trading companies.
Responsibility for contracts for utilities at Rugby.
Providing accurate and timely financial information to sites.
Gross margin reporting.
Stock reconciliations and control.
Site overhead control.
Leading the preparation of the annual budget for both sites.
Development of new systems and processes.
Other adhoc duties.
Experience of a similar role within a Manufacturing environment is preferrable but not essential.
Studying towards a professional qualification – CIMA, ACA, ACCA.
Strong IT/Analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work without direct supervision, and prioritise your own workload.
