The HR Advisor actively supports the business operations by providing an effective and professional HR service covering the full generalist remit. Supporting the HR Function with managing recruitment, training and employee relations. Responsibility for supporting the on boarding process in the delivery of induction and L&D programmes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Work closely with HR colleagues to monitor, review and update policies in line with current legislation and best practice
Manage both employees and management relationships, responding promptly to queries and manage expectations
Work in partnership with line managers on performance management, employee relations, resourcing and staff management/development
Support managers with grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations and hearings
Support and develop recruitment campaigns
Monitoring the sickness and absence levels in all departments and advising and coaching managers to effectively manage absenteeism
Work closely with managers across the organisation to endeavour that the on boarding process is seamless and completed within a timely and accurate manner
Support the team in the design and delivery of employee development & training programmes
Support the team with general HR admin as and when required
Be able to demonstrate solid experience within a generalist HR capacity as well as the ability to design and implement inspirational training programmes. Will have a proactive, professional approach to work and will be motivated by completing a variety of tasks. Will have the willingness and desire to engage, influence and inspire others by achieving and succeeding results.
