Health & Safety Engineering Manager (Safety, Health, Environment).
Our client is looking for an experienced H&S and Waste Manager – someone who has worked for a large – medium sized engineering company supplying the automotive industry.
Circa £30-37k, dependent on experience.
This is a standalone role – although all managers, supervisors and team leaders have completed the IOSH Managing Safely course and take a lot of responsibility for the safety/environment in their respective departments working closely with the SHE Manager and in co-operation the various departments have written their own SOP’s and the COSHH Assessments and RAM’s which have recently been updated.
A large, privately owned engineering company supplying the automotive industry. They are a world leader in their field with clients throughout the world. The company are expanding.
Near to junction 15a of the M1 – just a few miles from Northampton, Daventry and Towcester. They are just a half an hours drive from Rugby – and 20 miles from Kettering.
Hours of work
Early finish on Fridays – 3.30pm. (Monday-Thursday – hours by negotiation – between 8.00-18.00 – 40.5 hr/week.
28 days holiday incl. (plus extras depending on how Christmas falls – this year they got 4 extra days.) Every 2 years you get an additional day holiday – capped at 10 years service, with 5 extra days.
