Our Client has an exciting opportunity for two ambitious marketers raring to advance their skills across the marketing mix.
With either a minimum of 2 years practical marketing experience and/or degree-educated, you will be expected, and encouraged, to quickly take an increasing amount of ownership and responsibility of your role.
You will be highly organized, self-motivated, punctual and have an excellent telephone manner.
It is essential that you are a confident, creative writer with a meticulous eye for detail.
You should have an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and be comfortable working with complex spreadsheets.
Experience with any of the following software and applications will be advantageous: Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Google Analytics, WordPress, Salesforce.
Reporting to the UK Country Manager, you will be responsible for helping to develop and deliver the marketing strategies across the campaigns.
This is a unique opportunity where you will be encouraged to develop your own ideas, work independently and to master different disciplines of marketing.
Day-to-day duties include:
Maintaining and developing campaign websites
Producing engaging content for the campaign websites. e.g. blogs, videos, case studies, news items
Writing and sending regular e-newsletters to our 25,000 subscribers
Managing all aspects of our digital marketing: social media, SEO, PPC, Google Search etc.
Producing comprehensive website reports using Google Analytics
Project managing a large printed publication due to be launched in the summer
Providing value to our members and continuously seeking to attract new members
Providing website and artwork support for our colleagues around the world
Writing engaging press releases, articles for industry magazines and guest blogs
Conduct primary research and produce professional reports
Managing a £3m advertising campaign which currently reaches 30m+ people in the UK alone
Designing impactful and engaging marketing materials for use in print and online
Organising and hosting regular international and European conference calls
Our Client delivers several unique and well-respected campaigns for the graphic communication industries. Headquartered in the UK, these campaigns also operate throughout Europe, North America, South America, Australia and South Africa.
The campaigns are funded by hundreds of members from across the graphic communication industries, including: newspaper and magazine publishers, paper producers, printers, mail providers, and many more.
Salary: £18,000 – £24,000 depending on experience.
Full Time role: 9:00am to 5.30pm with one hour for lunch.
Pension: Employees are enrolled automatically in NEST, the workplace pension scheme set up by the government.
Holiday: 20 days + 8 days statutory holiday. The office is closed between Christmas and New Years and 3 days of this forms part of the holiday allowance.
Bonus scheme: A bonus scheme of up to 10% of salary is awarded annually based on KPIs being met. (Calculated on a pro-rata basis for joiners during the year)
