HOURS OF WORK: 25 hours per week (Monday – Friday 9 am – 1 pm additional 5 hours worked flexibly) plus attendance at evening meetings
Attending Meetings, to take minutes and record decisions, to produce minutes of meetings.
To produce Newsletter in conjunction with Editor
To process planning applications in accordance with the procedure, to ensure the planning authority receive the observations within the given timescales and to activate the early warning planning system as and when necessary.
To prepare papers and issues notices for Meetings
To act as a representative
To study reports and other data on activities and to share
relevant information as necessary.
Where appropriate, discuss matters with administrators and specialists in the particular field.
Tenders / proposals.
To monitor the implemented policies to ensure they are achieving the desired result and where appropriate suggest modifications.
To liase with official bodies as required.
To answer the telephone and deal with enquires from members of the public.
Diary management, make appointments, answer invitations and organise events.
To administer the Travel Scheme
To attend relevant training courses
Adhere to the General Data Protection Regulations.
Carry out functions as required under the Local Audit and Accountability Act 2014 Sections 26 and 27 and The Accounts and Audit Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/234) and will be responsible for all the financial records
To monitor and be responsible for the balancing of the accounts and the preparation of records for audit and VAT purposes.
To receive and report on invoices for goods and services
