Project Coordinator Engineering long Daventry contract
Salary: circa £20 – £24 per hour (PAYE)
Job type: Contract – Maternity cover
This will be working for a large Daventry based engineering company.
The department supports various engineering teams throughout the business ensuring that materials are in place to enable prototype builds to be completed on time.
We are looking for someone who has worked within an engineering/manufacturing environment.
You would be identifying, tracking and working in a small team to resolve project issues maintaining project notes, databases, and other records to ultimately overcome obstacles and resistance among stakeholders.
The successful candidate will liaise with suppliers and various internal engineering departments with special attention to long lead-time component management ensuring everything is on schedule.
This will be working with Project Managers to ensure the engineering release dates are managed; liaising with engineering to ensure design changes are managed and ensuring that purchasing are on board.
This will involve participating in “cross functional readiness meetings” and meeting with individual Planners and Technical Specialist for updates.
