Our client is a large Daventry based engineering company – they are looking for a new full-time member of staff work on a day shift.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring and optimising the manufacturing processes for existing products, N.P.I. & new equipment.
This will involve documenting process controls and instructions, introducing in-line production aids etc to improve their manufacturing process.
This will involve looking at existing processes, taking measurements and interpreting the data to improve production rates.
You will need to have a good understanding of metal manipulation, machining and welding processes and be able to demonstrate an understanding of APQP and PPAP. FMEA, Control Plans and SOP’s, also an understanding of CAD and jig/ fixtures and tool design and product cost structure
The company are looking for someone with a Mechanical Engineering qualification or experience in production manufacturing at an advanced level.
An engineering degree would be ideal.
