Fixed Term Contract – 9 – 12 Month Maternity Cover
c£25,599 pa (Consider Full Time or Part Time – 30 hours)
Purpose of role:
Driving this brand forward, delivering the budgeted revenue and margin, by maximising sales and profitability of existing products, and launching new products developed through the NPD process.
Deliver budget revenue and margin.
Work with the account managers and category team to optimise the product range in each account / channel.
Tracking SKU and range performance against key performance indicators and making recommendations to improve performance.
Lead projects to develop new products/packs and improve the existing range from idea to post-launch review.
Review product and range performance using all available data and information and engage relevant stakeholders to improve performance and optimise the product range.
Lead NPD and product/pack improvement projects through the process from idea to post-launch review, including completion of papers and chairing project team meetings.
Develop estimates, product and pack briefs, pack copy and sales presenters for NPD projects, and work each NPD project team to ensure projects are delivered on time.
Branded artwork creation and approval (with Technical) ensuring that all designs meet brand guidelines.
Checking own label artwork ready for sign off by Quality and Account Manager.
Regular attendance at daily product panels, working with the NPD Manager and quality team to ensure that products and packs meet our quality standards.
Key contact for trade mark attorneys ensuring that trade mark renewals are managed to meet the business’ needs, liaising with the International business unit to understand their requirements for trade mark renewals.
Ensuring all branded and own-label product information is up to date and accurate.
Raise barcodes for new branded products, international and own label products and supply all relevant information to enable the Customer Supply and Planning teams to raise internal product and component codes.
Update the Product Information Database on a monthly basis, adding new product information and/or flagging products to be delisted as necessary.
Manage the exit of delisted SKUs from the portfolio, developing a plan to minimise write-off costs and to maximise profit.
Raise purchase orders for product and innovation projects, ensuring that all spend is tracked and is within the teams’ agreed budget.
Management of accounts on behalf of the business unit teams.
