A key member of the Regulatory Department who ensures that the company meets all regulatory and Quality Assurance guidance. Strong analytical skills dealing with Certifications/Accreditations/Licencing/Compliance and Registrations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure regulatory compliance of Products and report deviation to Regulatory Manager
Assist with the registration of products
Attend events and keep up to date with EU/UK legislation
Contribute as required to annual ISO audit preparation
Assist product testing
Maintain effective and efficient documentation
Work with the Export Account Manager/Sales Director to provide export registration documentation, within an agreed timescale
Maintain the Registrations database on a daily basis
Provide export registration documents for contract clients agreed with the Technical Director
Assist with the notification of products, updating company database
Inform Sales Director and Export Account Manager of changes to products
Review suppliers’ material specifications against the approved specification.
Request additional information/documentation when required.
Liaise with suppliers regarding specification issues
Maintain Raw Materials Approvals Register
Communicate with suppliers to ensure compliance with legislative requirements
Ensure accuracy of specification files for raw materials, packaging components and finished goods
Assist with product packaging approval procedure, from artwork through to approval for Quality Control release of finished components.
Ensure that product labelling is compliant with UK and EU regulatory legislation/guidance
Prepare product documentation (specifications/certifications etc) requested by customers
Liaise with customers regarding product queries, as appropriate
Check artwork supplied by Contract clients against specification of product to be supplied
For Contract clients agreed with Technical Director, creation, approval and maintenance of artwork files
Complete customer New Line Form files when requested by Sales
Provide assistance with information required for customer audits/visits
Essential Skills / Qualifications
Good basic education – Consider University/College leaver
Accuracy and Diligence. Strong attention to detail
Ability to deliver effective written communication
Able to communicate with confidence over the telephone and in meetings.
Proficient in maths and ability to understand technical detail
Preference given to those with a background within Certification/Accreditation/Documentation/Registrations/Compliance.
