The Sales Administration Manager reports into the Finance Director.
Managing a team of 3, dealing with the sales, purchase, logistics and financial aspects of this business; from customer offers through to cash receipt from customer. Playing an active role in helping the team deliver improved service levels to all stakeholders.
Lead the Sales Administration team; setting objectives, managing performance, absence, training, work-loads, and financial deadline adherence.
Overseeing the sales administration team’s activities; ensuring all sales and purchase orders, invoices, cash receipts and warranty obligations are handled in a timely and accurate fashion; resolving issues.
Providing cover for sales administration activities and for larger / more complex sales orders; raising offers and orders, invoices, order acknowledgments; organising transport & offloading and ensuring cash collection.
Responsible for up-to-date reports and files.
Maintain up-to-date operating instructions & procedures for the sales administration activities.
Liaise and manage internal and external stakeholders’ needs; External – Customers, Sales Administrators, Logistics providers; Internal – Sales, Finance, Service & Spares departments.
Oversee the warranty, sales ledger account; invoicing adjustments, cash allocation, and liaison with the service claims department.
Administer warranty arrangements for non-standard agreements.
This role would ideally suit someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment; liaising and resolving queries with multiple stakeholders.
Prior experience in a sales focused / facing finance administration role essential.
