These are varied positions – the successful candidates will have various projects to design, draw and programme through to production components.
There will also be some odd projects for making tooling on the CNC’s. The successful candidates need to be very independent and happy to train operators to do the production part of the process – give a handover and provide some training specific for each product to the operators.
The company will consider various levels of experience for these positions.
Candidates need to be a skilled home grown CNC-er who has worked their way up.
This person will not be part of a CNC team, it is an individual who will move around the 3 production areas and pick up projects and run with them. They won’t report to the production managers but sit outside of the production departments.
The company have Autocad, EZCam & Solid Works
They are investing in more new machines, they have Heidenhain, some XYZ VMC 1020’s, Vulcans and HAAS etc
Salary circa £25-36k depending on the level of experience and skill level.

Hours of work
Early finish on Fridays – 3.30pm. (Monday-Thursday – hours by negotiation – between 8.00-18.00 – 40.5 hr/week.
28 days holiday incl. (plus extras depending on how Christmas falls – this year they got 4 extra days.) Every 2 years you get an additional day holiday – capped at 10 years service, with 5 extra days.
