This position is foccused on providing technical quotes for customers and contacting existing clients regaring any further requirements and progressing these with the sales team.
This role would suit someone who is interested and possibly has a qualification or has done an apprenticship in the engineering sector. The role will hopefully progress into an area sales position. There are great prospects for the right indivual. You will have a desire to progress within a sales environment.
Creation of product quotations within CRM
Direct tele-sales calls liaising with customers enquiries for products and services.
Follow up and qualify all inbound leads and process via SAP CRM
Understand qualification from a sales perspective and prioritise accordingly
Quotation generation with CRM
Ensure that all leads are routed correctly; either to the Account Management team or back into Marketing for further nurturing Take a pro-active account-led approach to explore further sales opportunities (portfolio selling)
Understand the structure of CRM and lead flow
Ensure that customer data is kept up to date and is segmented correctly
Execute post exhibition/event telesales campaign
Prepare reports on lead conversion and other relevant topics
Assist in preparing data for marketing campaigns, e.g. trade-in/upgrade campaigns
Keep up to date with new product launches
Support in improving opportunity forecasting accuracy
Attend Exhibitions if required
Preferred experience in working with SAP CRM, Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in speaking to customers
Must be self-driven and happy to take their own initiative
The suitable applicant should have good sales, telephone and communication skills.
Must be able to manage their own work load and prioritise effectively
The applicant should be able to work as an individual and contribute within a team environment
