This role is to cover maternity leave and will commence asap. The contract will be until at least November.
To grow sales through our clients direct distribution customers by engaging by telephone within a business-to-business telesales environment with retail showrooms, onsite installers, builder’s merchants, builders and developers. The role integrates with field based sales managers to appoint new customers, place point of sale and displays and develop relationships to win new business in our multi-brand platforms.
Providing a proactive, first class and professional service by telephone and email
Working within a CRM database system and responsible for accurately entering and maintaining recinformation to enable effective selling effort and follow up.
Identifying users of competitor products and opportunities to convert users of competitor product to our client’s product through Improving customer knowledge and understanding, growing our POS coverage and display base.
Undertaking annual telephone update contact-bursts in range relaunch and POS update projects
Maintaining regular contact with existing customers.
Identifying new opportunities, new customers and their product mix and purchasing profiles.
Ensuring studios are aware of and understand our brands, products and services.
Supporting stockist distributors, their external sales staff, their own external sales staff and internal business support staff.
Handling incoming calls from both trade and consumers; fulfilling requests as necessary.
All the above will be achieved detailed questioning and effective sales techniques, whilst working to outbound call rate targets agreed with the Team Leader.
Display a professional manner at all times.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Following training a level technical knowledge will be required during calls
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
Understanding of database driven CRM systems, although training is given.
